Benjamin will appear in Sky Atlantic's The Tunnel (2013). He previously appeared in the hit show Waterloo Road (2006) and the Tom Fontana series Borgia (2011) directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel. He featured in the BAFTA nominated BBC comedy Sadie J (2011) and the BBC's Beautiful People (2008).

Benjamin screen-tested with Hailee Steinfeld for Romeo in the forthcoming film Romeo y Julieta (2013) but the part eventually went to Douglas Booth.

Benjamin has a sister, Jasmine Gur, who is an actress.
